I am proud that he is so proud of himself. He is in Hawaii right now and says he loves what he is doing, and all that he is learning. I am so scared for him also. Do you ever get used to it? I for one am glad for the cool hand and steady training of our highly professional Naval captains and admirals... glad you had a laugh. i often wonder if the Russian Navy had several aircraft carrier

I have talked with Salute Our Heroes and Wounded Warriors and thanked them personally for making it possible for my son to serve until April in a much safer place. Because of those that went before my son and yours, Angela, the likelyhood of something happening to them is GREATLY reduced. Remember our Wounded Warriors and Salute Our Heroes as the Brave Warriors they are! May God's Face shine upon them! Those of you who have sons and daughters deploying to Iraq soon, as Angela must know that things are better now than they were.

Before he deploys, we will have him for the Christmas Holidays. My prayers are with you and yours. Ryan and I met while both stationed in Okinawa, Japan in the Marine Corps (1999). So incredibly sweet-HUGE HEART!! We later were stationed in Jacksonsonville,NC together in(2001-2003) then I got out of the service. I had no idea he was deployed...and for a second time!!
